Betterpress offers immersive workshops for study-abroad programmes that combine urban exploration, epigraphic research and letterpress printing in the heart of Rome. Students investigate the culture of the letter across the centuries — from ancient inscriptions to contemporary signage — working directly with moveable type in our studio between Trastevere and Testaccio.
Programmes are ideal for faculty-led courses in printmaking, typographic design, book arts, visual culture and interdisciplinary studies.
